Just Do It.

I have always wanted to go fishing… from the time I was 5, maybe earlier than that I had a big urge to fish. I remember my papa taking me to the river but we never caught anything. I didn't give up though and as I got older I realized some of things I want to do, I can just do them. So I found an old fishing pole and went to the lake near my house. Guess what… I realized I love fishing. It doesn’t really matter that I never caught anything. I love the outdoors, the sunshine, or rain. I love tying the luers on, watching to see if any fish are near me. I love the time that goes by, the quiet and the sound of the waves coming to shore. I decided I wanted a fishing boat. I found one on MarketPlace. I had to create a profile in order to shop on Marketplace but that didn’t stop me. I figured out how to do it and “wallah,” there were fishing boats abound. I saw one that was super nice, and sent a note. I knew it was above my budget, but I could also tell the house in the background was very nice and maybe they didn’t care about how much money they would get. I went to see it at 7am the next morning as the man needed to leave at 8am. I told him it was perfect except it was above my budget to which he asked ”what was my budget.” “$2000”, I replied, which was ⅓ less than he was asking. I asked if he would accept 2400 as an offer and he said “you don’t want to go above your budget, how about we stay there”. I picked it up the next morning, took it out on the water for the first time and it ran great! About a week later I took it out on to my friend's lake, Lake St. Clair, and we caught 5 fish that day.
