On this team I have accomplished so much. We have won a few tournaments, states, and we won the 2022 National Championship at the 19u level. For the entire season we have held the number 1 spot out of 54 teams in the nation. As an individual, I have been working towards my dream of playing college hockey. Now, I can say I am proud to continue my academic and athletic career at Stevenson University. Playing on this team has taught me so much. I have never been on a team like this before. This team is a commitment, you have to step up when the team needs it, you have to be willing to go all in. Playing on teams in past years has been all about winning and losing, which makes the game very stressful. Playing for this team is enjoyable and even though we do win a lot of games, when we lose we turn it all around and work hard to do better the next game.
Fishing
In the free time that I have and I'm not playing hockey, I love to fish or spend time on any boat. I have caught fish all over the state of Michigan and even some in Florida. Fishing is important to me because my entire life it has been memories shared with my friends or family. Usually people can't remember their first memory, but I can, and it was fishing with my papa. He taught me how to fish and ever since then I have loved it. Weather I'm fishing on a 30 foot, center counsel boat off the coast of Miami, or just on the rocky shore of Kent Lake, whatever it is, it's fishing. What I love most about fishing is all the different lures and baits you can throw and the different fish you can catch with them. There's so many different combinations you can make with just a hook and a lure.
